The convenience of DRIVE THRU and DELIVERY has become my best friend. When the twins are in tow..running errands can be a bit cumbersome. There is also a time limit as well, usually 2-3 hours. Imagine getting the double stroller, taking them out of the car seat, buckling them in the stroller, pushing the stroller with one hand while pulling the grocery cart with another. Once done shopping, putting the groceries in the trunk, taking the twins out of the stroller, into the car seats, and repeat at the next stop.
Convenience
So I am now your number one fan of Drive Thru and Delivery services for EVERYTHING!
My Top FIVE Drive Thru and Delivery Places:
5. Taco Veloz ::
Authentic mexican food. Tacos, tortas, and burritos. Best part, I would say one of the best Mexican Restaurants in town. Did I mention Anthony Bourdain agrees.
4. Starbucks ::
Being a full time working mom means I run on coffee. If I see one with a drive thru, I’m there! Doesn’t matter what time of the day, I will never say NO to coffee.
3. Dunkin Donuts ::
My own personal preference, but I prefer Dunkin Donuts coffee. Can’t go wrong with coffee and donuts for a quick pick me up.
3. Jimmy Johns ::
Quality sandwiches with speedy service. Even my vegetarian friends say they have one of the best sandwiches in town.
2. Chick-fe-le ::
Living in ATL has its perks. You can usually find one pretty easily. Not only do they offer coffee (love their new vanilla iced coffee), they are a healthy alternative to the typical fast food. They also provide one of the best services in town “my pleasure.”
1. Amazon ::
I think our UPS man isn’t thrilled about his daily stops to our house. I wonder if thats why we are one of his last stops. I order everything from toilet paper to diapers and everything in between. With 2 day delivery guaranteed, you can’t go wrong.
There is a new grocery delivery service I am excited to try this coming week. It is called InstaCart. Plug in your zip code, it will let the consumer know which stores qualify and what items can be delivered to your home. There is a small delivery service, but you can select items from all the stores or just one store. For my zip code, they deliver items from Costco, Kroger, and Whole Foods. It takes more time and effort for me to run to all three stores with twins in the car. I will update once I have given their business a try.
Convenience sometimes makes people sound lazy, but for some, the convenience makes our lives a little easier. It gives us the time for the more important things in life, my family.
